Fertility Evaluations and Therapy

Why Is an Evaluation Needed?

Although fertility clinics often require psychological evaluations be completed by a mental health professional, it can also be a helpful step in your fertility journey. During your evaluation, your psychologist will discuss the mental health aspects related to fertility. Our team of compassionate psychologists aim to educate you on different aspects of the fertility process including navigating emotions that arise along the way.

The Evaluation Process

We provide evaluations for those undergoing IUI and IVF. This can involve using an embryo, sperm, or egg donor. Our evaluation process begins with completing paperwork and mental health questionnaires. We gather information about your history, mental health, fertility plans, and support system. You then meet with the psychologist, either virtually or in person. After the interview, the psychologist writes a report with their recommendations, which is then sent to your fertility clinic. *Please note: The evaluation is not billable to insurance; however, therapy services throughout your fertility journey would be, if we are in-network with your provider.
